Life Insurance Corporation of India announced that the following officials have been elevated to hold Senior Management Personnel positions. They have taken charge of their current assignment on April 16, 2024. Mr. Dharam Pal has been elevated from Regional Manager (Marketing), ZO, Bhopal to Executive Director (Senior Business Associates) and Mr. Shubhashish Dasgupta has been elevated from Regional Manager (Housing Finance Limited), RO, Bhopal to Executive Director (Office Services/Human Resource Management System).

Brief Profile of Dharam Pal: Mr. Dharam Pal joined LIC of India in the year 1990 as an Assistant Administrative Officer. He holds a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from Delhi University. He has served the Corporation in various roles, viz., Branch, Audit, Customer Relationship Management, Claims, and New Business, etc.

He had marketing stints as Senior Branch Manager and Chief Manager. He had been Marketing Manager and SDM of one of the biggest division of the country, Delhi-II. He had also worked in Zonal Training Centres as Faculty Member in Bhopal and Gurugram, as Regional Manager (Inspection) in Northern Zone, as Regional Manager of Estate & Office Services and Marketing departments in Bhopal.

Brief Profile of Shubhashish Dasgupta: Mr. Shubhashish Dasgupta joined the Life Insurance Corporation of India in 1990 as an Assistant Administrative Officer. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Science from Bihar University. He has done PGEP Diploma from IIM Ahmedabad and holds a Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India.

He also holds a Diploma in Underwriting and a Diploma in Health Insurance as well from Insurance Institute of India. He has held several important positions such as Marketing Manager, Mumbai Division-4, Sr. Divisional Manager, Amravati, Regional Manager (Micro Insurance), Eastern Zone, Regional Manager (Bancassurance), Eastern Zone, Regional Manager (Health Insurance), East Central Zone, Regional Manager (Bancassurance/Micro), East Central Zone and Regional Manager LIC Housing Finance Limited, Central Region.
