Longchen Paper & Packaging Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 11,948.64 million compared to TWD 13,238.87 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 326.3 million compared to net income of TWD 289.34 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.25 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.23 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.25 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.23 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 22,771.02 million compared to TWD 26,803.92 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 963.37 million compared to net income of TWD 301.01 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.73 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.24 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.73 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 0.24 a year ago.

The Companyâs products include industrial paper and corrugated paper container products. Its industrial paper includes kraft paperboards and corrugated medium paper. Its corrugated paper products include corrugated paperboards and corrugated paper boxes. The Company is also involved in the provision of recycling of energy and resources services, including the purchasing and sale of waste paper, the treatment of public sewage, the cogeneration of steam and electricity, the turnkey contracting of incinerators, car testing and commission operation businesses.
