Makpetrol reported consolidated financial results for the first half to June 2016. The company reported consolidated net profit of MKD 95.1 million ($1.7 million) for the first half, reversing a net loss of MKD 251.4 million for the same period last year, mainly due to lower operating expenses. Consolidated operating revenue fell 17% year-on-year to MKD 7.47 billion in January-June. Thus, operating profit reached MKD 111 million, reversing an operating loss of MKD 215.1 million a year ago. Financial revenue jumped 66% on the year to MKD 58.8 million.
