Makpetrol reported nonconsolidated earnings results for the first quarter of 2017. For the quarter, the company reported net profit decreased 3% year-on-year to MKD 43 million ($760,570/EUR 700,120), mainly due to lower financial revenue. Operating revenue rose 15% on the year to MKD 3.99 billion. Financial revenue plunged 72% to MKD 13.6 million.

The company expects to close 2017 with a profit before tax of MKD 344.9 million, lower than its pre-tax profit of MKD 410.7 million in 2016, revenues of MKD 18.2 billion.
