NewYork-Presbyterian, a returning customer with nine WasteLog? systems already integrated into their Drug Diversion Prevention Program, has ordered another WasteLog? system.

The system will be installed at Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital. Pharmacolog is the provider of WasteLog?, used to monitor and safeguard discarded or returned controlled substances from high use areas. Interest in WasteLog?

is increasing as hospitals across the United States are enhancing their Drug Diversion Prevention Programs following the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) guidelines for randomized assay testing from high use/high risk areas. NewYork-Presbyterian already uses a total of nine WasteLog? systems as part of their Drug Diversion Prevention Program that spans 12 hospital campuses in the greater New York metropolitan area.

The new system will be dedicated to Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital - Manhattan's only hospital dedicated solely to the care of children. The order is expected to have only a minor impact on the result.
