mBank announced that Poland's financial market regulator KNF has confirmed that mBank meets the requirements to pay a dividend of up to 75% of its 2023 profit. mBank had already decided in 2022 not to pay a dividend for 2023. The Polish Financial Supervision Authority confirmed that the Bank fulfils the criteria for the payment of dividend up to 75% of the profit for 2023, however the maximum amount of payment may not exceed the amount of the annual profit less the profit generated in 2023 already included in own funds.

mBank recalled that due to the additional costs of legal risks related to foreign currency mortgages and mortgage moratorium, the bank's management board adopted and the supervisory board approved in September 2022 a capital management policy for the mBank group assuming that no dividend would be paid out from the profit earned by mBank in 2023.
