Hisaka Works Ltd. (TSE:6247) concluded a contract to acquire Asahi Industry Co., Ltd. from MBK Co., Ltd. (TSE:3121) for ¥350 million on October 11, 2016. Hisaka Works will acquire 20,000 shares of Asahi Industry Co. in the deal. For the year ended March 31, 2016, Asahi Industry Co., Ltd. reported net assets of ¥110.12 million, total assets of ¥357.85 million, sales of ¥371.95 million, operating profit of ¥17.21 million, and net income of ¥9.56 million. The Board of Directors of MBK Co. passed a resolution regarding the sale on October 11, 2016. The transaction is expected to close on November 1, 2016.
