ME Group International PLC, a London-based provider of vending machines, photobooths, printing kiosks and equipment services in Europe and Asia, has expanded its installations in the past year, according to a press release.

The company has installed 547 photobooth machines to date in France. New features include "mobile to print" user personalization services using AI and photo filters.

The company is currently installing approximately 180 units per month and aims to increase this to approximately 250 new installations per month during 2024. At the same time, the company is modernizing the hardware of its existing photobooth estate and installing its proprietary software at a rate of around 200 machines per month. The software enables the engineers to upgrade each machine remotely rather than needing to physically visit the machines.

The company also extended its presence in Japan through the acquisition of 3,548 photobooths acquired from Fujifilm Corp. in September 2023, with more than 15,000 machines in operation today.

In addition, the company installed more than 820 Revolution laundry machines this year across the U.K., the Republic of Ireland and Continental Europe, bringing the total number of operating units to 5,533, representing total machine growth of 16%.

The company operates vending units across 19 countries focused on four areas:

  • Photo.ME: Photobooths and integrated biometric identification solutions.
  • Wash.ME: Unattended laundry services and launderettes.
  • Print.ME: Digital printing kiosks.
  • Feed.ME: Vending equipment for the foodservice market.

The company also offers children's rides, amusement machines and business service equipment.
