HAWE Telekom Sp. z o.o. agreed to acquire Hawe Telekom Sp Z O O from Hawe Spólka Akcyjna.

MediaTel Spolka Akcyjna (WSE:MTL) agreed to acquire Hawe Telekom Sp Z O O from Hawe Spólka Akcyjna in stock on December 4, 2013. Under the terms of the agreement, MediaTel Spolka Akcyjna will issue new shares as consideration and as a result will exceed the threshold of 66% of the overall number of votes in Mediatel and it will be required to announce a public tender for the sale or exchange of all remaining shares. The management Board intends to maintain Mediatel as a public company listed on the main floor of Gielda Papierów Wartosciowych w Warszawie S.A. It is the intention of the management Board of HAWE S.A. to maintain full control, including operational control, over Mediatel after the contribution of HAWE Telekom in the future and to continue within the HAWE Capital Group of the business now performed by HAWE Telekom and Mediatel.
