Medion announced at the IFA show in Berlin plans to introduce a new LTE smartphone. The Medion X5020 features a 5-inch full-HD IPS screen and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor with 3 GB RAM. It runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system.

The smartphone with a back and front Corning Gorilla Glass protection features a 13 MP main camera with flash, auto focus and digital zoom, and a front camera with 5 MP. The phone offers 32 GB internal storage, which can be extended to 128 GB with a microSD card, and is available in black or white. From the fourth quarter of this year, Medion also offers the X5004 version, which is inspired by the X5020 but offers 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal storage.

It is only available in black. The phones will be sold from EUR 299 for the X5020 or EUR 249 for the X5004 from fourth quarter.
