Mathpresso, Inc. announced that it has received $6.7 million in a round of funding in 2018. The transaction included participation from Megastudy Co. Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A072870), SoftBank Ventures Asia and Samsung Venture Investment Corporation.
MegaStudy Co., Ltd is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the online education business. The Company provides online education services through its portal sites www.megasuday.net, campus.megastudy.net and www.mbest.co.kr, which provide online educational contents, teaching materials, video on demand (VOD) contents and learning management consulting services for pre-university students and primary and middle school students. The Company also offers offline education services through its educational institutes. In addition, it provides education services to adults through online and off-line, as well as engages in the study material publishing business.
