Applause Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire Kawahara Co., Ltd. from Meiji Machine Co., Ltd. (TSE:6334) on February 28, 2014. The transaction has been resolved by Board of Directors of Meiji Machine Co., Ltd. Applause Co., Ltd. concluded a share purchase contract to acquire Kawahara Co., Ltd. from Meiji Machine Co., Ltd. on March 10, 2014. Meiji Machine incurred a loss of ¥103 million from the sale.
