Memiontec Awarded Two New Tenders by PUB,

Totalling S$12.7 Million;

Order Book Increases to S$91.6 Million

Singapore, 30 August 2021 - Memiontec Holdings Ltd. ("Memiontec" or "明泰控股" or the "Company", and together with its subsidiaries, the "Group"), a total water solutions specialist in Asia, is pleased to announce that the Group has been awarded two new tenders with a total value of S$12.7 million by the Public Utilities Board ("PUB"), Singapore's National Water Agency (the "Contracts"). This is in addition to the award of a S$21.7 million contract by PUB to the Group announced in April 2021.

The Group's order book as at 31 July 2021 stands at approximately S$78.9 million. With the Contracts included, the Group's book order increases by 16.1% to approximately S$91.6 million.

The first Contract involves the replacement of mechanical and electrical equipment at Jurong Island Sewage Treatment Plants No. 1 and No. 2, which is scheduled to be completed in 24 months from September 2021, while the second Contract involves the supply and delivery of activated carbon at PUB (water reclamation network) installations, which is scheduled to be completed in 27 months from August 2021.

The Group anticipates that there will be a number of significant public tenders in the next two years in Singapore relating to Membrane processes and Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, Control and Automation works for various water reclamation plants and waterworks.

With a synergistic business model that encompasses the entire water cycle value chain in the water industry, the Group holds respective licences such as the BCA ME11 Grade L6 (right to participate in public tenders with unlimited tendering limit) in Singapore, and the B1 and B2 construction licences in Indonesia (highest tier and right to participate in public and private tenders with unlimited tendering limit). In addition, the Group holds the ISO certification as a testament to its commitment to providing consistent quality services. With the above, the Company believes that the Group is well-positioned to participate in those upcoming significant public tenders in Singapore.

Memiontec's Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Tay Kiat Seng, said, "Memiontec has been involved in various PUB projects over the past 20 years and we will continue to work closely with PUB to support their efforts in enhancing Singapore's water infrastructure."

Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Contracts are expected to contribute positively to the Group's financial results for the duration of the Contracts. In view that the Contracts will commence from August 2021 and September 2021 respectively, they are not expected to have a material impact on the Group's net tangible assets per share and earnings per share for the current financial year ending 31 December 2021.

None of the directors or substantial shareholders of the Company and their respective associates has any interest, direct or indirect, in the Contracts, save for their respective shareholdings in the Company (if any).
