MEMSCAP, S.A. Announces Consolidated Earnings Results for the Six Months Ended June 30, 2018

MEMSCAP, S.A. announced consolidated earnings results for the six months ended June 30, 2018. Consolidated revenue for the first half of 2018 amounted to EUR 6.5 million compared to EUR 5.7 million for the first half of 2017. For the first half of 2018, the Group posted a positive EBITDA of EUR 0.6 million compared to a negative EBITDA of EUR 0.2 million for the first half of 2017. The cash flows consumed by the investing activities in the first half of 2018 amounted to EUR 0.4 million and mainly concern the purchase of industrial equipment related to the Group's Norwegian subsidiary. Operating profit was EUR 117,000 against loss of EUR 557,000 a year ago. Profit for the period from continuing operations before tax was EUR 151,000 against loss of EUR 582,000 a year ago. Profit for the period from continuing operations was EUR 12,000 against loss of EUR 647,000 a year ago. Profit for the period was EUR 12,000 against loss of EUR 647,000 a year ago. Basic and diluted profit for the period attributable to ordinary equity holders the parent was EUR 0.002 against diluted loss of EUR 0.087 a year ago. Total net cash flows from operating activities was EUR 119,000 against total net cash flows from operating activities of EUR 236,000 a year ago. Purchase of fixed assets was EUR 377,000 against EUR 167,000 a year ago.
