MN Holdings Berhad announced appointment of DATO' SERI IR. BAHARIN BIN DIN as Independent and Non Executive Chairman. Age is 61.

Date of change is 15 March 2024. Qualifications: Business Administration from Bond University, Australia - University Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia, Secience (Electrical Engineering) from Syracuse University, New York, United States of America, Certified Professional Engineer from Board of Engineers (BEM), Malaysia, Certified Competent Engineer from Energy Commission, Malaysia, Certified Service Engineer from Energy Commission, Malaysia and Member from Institution of Engineers, Malaysia. Working experience and occupation: Dato Seri built his career in Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) of which he had served in various engineering and managerial positions within TNB, including Business Development, Network Maintenance, Network Planning, Construction Services, Metering Service and Engineering Services.

Subsuquently, he worked in the Ministry of Energy, Telecommunication and Post Malaysia and served as Director of Electrical Inspectorate Department, Sabah and Director of Electrical Inspectorate Department, Pahang for two (2) and a half years. Dato Seri then being appointed as the Managing Director of Sabah Electricity Sdn. Bhd.

on 1 March 2007 which responsible for overall business & technical performance of the company and managed to address frequent electricity breakdown problems in Sabah by improving the States SAIDI supply reliability performance. On 1 January 2012, he has appointed as the Vice President of the Distribution Division in TNB which responsible for the management of the division involving over 15,000 workforce strength. He then being promoted as the Chief Distribution Network Officer of TNB in 1 August 2018 which responsible for overall management of TNB Distribution Network nationwide covering 83,000 substations, with workforce strength of 11,200.

Dato Seri has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of TNB on 1 March 2021 which responsible for leading the TNB management team to drive TNB forward and also responsible for guiding TNB on its path toward the company's strategic aspiration to become a leading supplier of sustainable energy solutions in Malaysia and internationally. He had ceased his office as Chief Executive Officer of TNB on 29 February 2024 due to the expiry of his service tenure.
