Mondelez International Announces Executive Changes

Mondelez International announced that Samir Jain has been named as President, India and will join the company in August 2023. Samir Jain takes over from Deepak Iyer who was elevated to EVP and President, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) region effective June 5, 2023. Samir will report into Deepak Iyer in his new role and will be part of the AMEA Leadership Team representing India. Jain joins Mondelez International from Bunge India, where he led the business as Managing Director for the last 10 years. He successfully diversified the company's B2C portfolio, transforming its profile while driving growth. Jain worked at Unilever India for more than 17 years in various roles across categories and functions, starting in 1995 as a Management Trainee. He left the company in 2012 as the Vice President of the Laundry Category. During his time in Unilever, Jain also served as Global Finance Director for the Hair Category in the UK. Jain has broad strategic and operational capabilities having worked in marketing, sales, finance, supply
chain, procurement, and general management during his career.

- cookies and snacks (48.9%): Barni, belVita, Chips Ahoy, Club Social, Enjoy Life Foods, Honey Maid, Kinh Do, LU, Oreo, Prince, Ritz, Tate's Bake Shop, Tiger, Triscuit, TUC, Wheat Thins, etc. brands;
- chocolates (29.5%): 5 Star, Alpen Gold, Cadbury, Cadbury Dairy Milk, Côte d'Or, Daim, Freia, Hu, Lacta, Marabou, Milka, Toblerone, etc. brands;
- chewing gums and candies (12.3%): Halls, Clorets, Maynards Bassett's, Sour Patch Kids, Stride, etc. brands;
- cheese and grocery products (6%);
- beverages (3.3%): juices, teas and powdered beverages (Tang brand) and malted beverages (Cadbury Bournvita).
At the end of 2023, the group had 148 manufacturing sites worldwide.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the United States (26.6%), North America (4.2%), Europe (35.7%), Asia/Pacific/Middle East/Africa (19.6%) and Latin America (13.9%).
