Moscow City Telephone Network has named Pavel Kuznetsov, formerly head of wholly owned Sistema subsidiary Sitronics, its new CEO, the company said in a statement. Several sources told Interfax about the forthcoming appointment earlier. Kuznetsov will replace Andrei Yershov, who led the company starting from October 2012. Yershov has decided to leave MGTS at his own request to pursue project outside the operator, a source close to the company said. He is also considering possible roles within Sistema. From 2015 to 2016, Pavel Kuznetsov headed JSC Intellect-Telecom and became CEO of Sitronics in March 2016.
