MUSCAT CITY DESALINATION COMPANY SAOG Muscat City Desalination Company SAOG announced the appointment of Mr. Vishwanath Sankaranarayanan as a temporary board member and Audit Committee Chairman of the Company to fill in the vacancy arising from the resignation of Mr. Sultan Obaid Said Al Ghaithi with effect from 12 December 2022. Mr. Vishwanath Sankaranarayanan, age 57, male, an Indian national, a Chartered Accountant from India with over 30 years' experience primarily in the power and infrastructure sector. He was Group Chief Financial Officer of Electricity Holding Company Oman and a Board member of Oman Power & Water Procurement Company.
The reconstitution of the Board Audit Committee as follows: Vishwanath Sankaranarayanan, Board Audit Committee Chairman; Mohd Nazersham Bin Mansor, Ajeev Gopinathan and Ashish Gupta as Members.
