Musee Grevin : Katy Perry arrives at Grévin!

The most entertaining wax museum, Grévin Prague, has enriched its permanent exhibition with the addition of a new wax of the American popstar Katy Perry. This time, the museum dedicated the unveiling ceremony to children from children's homes, as an International Children's Day present.

The wax was unveiled by the actor and presenter Ondřej Sokol in the spirit of a popular TV and music show 'Your Face Sounds Familiar', and the singer's songs were flawlessly interpreted by Anička Slováčková and Ondřej Mička. Celebrate Katy Perry's arrival and come to Celetná Street 15 on the weekend of 3 - 4 June!

The arrival of a grand American star

On the occasion of the inauguration, Grévin Museum teamed up with the organisation Yourchance o.p.s., and in the 'Start Right' project, it prepared an International Children's Day present, inviting children from children's homes in Mašťov, Unhošť, and Žatec to the unveiling ceremony of Katy Perry's wax double. This way, nearly a hundred children enjoyed the unique atmosphere of a popular TV show and autograph signing with the artists.

In the 'ballroom' of Grévin Museum, Katy Perry's figure was unveiled by Ondřej Sokol. The singer who was, like Michael Jackson, able to have 5 number one hits from one album, was flawlessly interpreted by Anička Slováčková and Ondřej Miček. Right at the beginning, Anička sang one of the greatest hits that launched Katy Perry's career.

The recently unveiled statute of Katy Perry is modelled on the concept of her famous 2011 Paris performance. It depicts the singer in her distinct final pose for her song called Firework. She is wearing the same costume in which she sang - a light-blue swimsuit covered in candy-shape sequins, wearing a blue wig. The wig at Grévin Museum is made of real hair. The Grévin Museum is happy to collaborate with Hairdreams, the leading international luxury brand in professional hair lengthening and thickening systems, for the hairstyles of the wax figures of Katy Perry.

Mayor of Prague 1, Oldřich Lomecký, and his charming partner Veronika Blažková, who is also the press officer of Prague 1 town hall, were present for the arrival of the pop music star. Other guests included fashion designer Osmany Laffita, actor and singer Milan Peroutka, and stylist Kája Pavlíček.
