Athens, Greece - MYTILINEOS S.A. (RIC: MYTr.AT, Bloomberg: MYTIL.GA, ADR: MYTHY US) through its Sustainable Engineering Solutions (SES) Business Unit, in Consortium with Siemens Energy Global GmbH & Co. KG and Siemens Energy sp. z o.o., undertakes the construction of a combined-cycle gas turbine (CCGT) power plant project in Grudziadz, Poland.

Specifically, the Consortium has signed an Engineering, Procurement and construction (EPC) contract with SPV CCGT Grudzi?dz Sp z o.o. (owned entirely by Energa S A, part of Orlen Group) to construct an efficient power plant in combined cycle technology (CCGT) of net electric power in the range of 560 MW, consisting of one gas turbine and one condensing steam turbine, using a closed, wet mechanical draft cooling tower arrangement and construction of a gas installation in the Power Plant area with accompanying infrastructure.

The CCGT is expected to enter commercial operation in 38 months after the signing of the contract.

Energa Group is one of Poland's largest energy companies and one of the largest electricity suppliers in the country. Its core activities include the generation and distribution of and trading in electricity and heat, as well as gas trading.

The contract price for MYTILINEOS amounts to app. 202 milion Euros.

This is the first energy project for MYTILINEOS' Sustainable Engineering Solutions Business Unit in Poland, following a long and successful series of construction of thermal projects in Europe, Asia and Africa.
