Nanjing Panda Electronics : Panda Digital Industry Research Institute was founded

On November 12, the Digital Industry Research Institute of Panda Electronics was officially inaugurated in the Panda Equipment Park. The deputy general manager and Party member of CEC Mr. Liu Meixuan, the Board Chair and party secretary of CEC Panda, Board Chair of Panda Electronics Mr. Zhou Guixiang, attended the event. At the unveiling ceremony, Xia Dechuan first introduced the relevant situation of the Institute. He pointed out that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the Institute will grasp the new direction of digital development, focus on building a collaborative and open technological innovation system, create a collaborative and efficient ecosystem facing the needs of industrial innovation, and build a governance system of modern scientific research institutions with Panda characteristics. At the same time, gather innovation elements and core resources of relevant industries, accelerate R&D investment and the exploration and cultivation of innovative talents, and accelerate R&D breakthroughs and iterative applications in key technology fields; Strengthen the mutual and in-depth integration of academia and industry, strive to improve the digital scientific and technological achievements transformation capacity, comprehensively support industrial upgrading, cultivate sustainable development potential, build a new generation of information technology industry highland, and play an active role in enterprise digitization construction.

Subsequently, Liu Meixuan, Zhou Guixiang, Xia Dechuan and the executive vice president of the Institute Mr. Lu Bin, jointly unveiled the Institute. The Institute set up Industrial Technology Research Office and General Technical Office, and manage 12 technology centers, including 2 national technology centers, 7 provincial technology centers and 3 municipal technology centers. By absorbing high-end talents in the industry and cultivating independent core backbone, the Institute will focus on the development of new generation information technologies such as 5G, AI, cloud computing, big data and blockchain, layout industries such as intelligent equipment and industrial Internet, smart transportation, safe city, digital park and green high-end electronic manufacturing services, and provide a series of solutions and key special equipment design and R&D services for Panda modern digital business.

Zhou Guixiang said in his speech that the establishment of Panda Digital Industry Research Institute marks a new stage for the digital industry of Panda, which is not only an urgent need to optimize and integrate innovative resources and improve the ability of independent innovation, but also the only way to seize the future high point of digital technology and enhance the core competitiveness of enterprises. In the early stage, he made a special trip to Panda Electronics to investigate the development of the 14th Five-Year Plan and put forward specific requirements and hopes for the establishment of the Institute. After the unveiling ceremony, Liu meixuan, Zhou Guixiang and the delegation also made a special visit to the research institute to understand the latest R&D achievements of Panda in the fields of modern digital city, industrial Internet and intelligent manufacturing. He fully affirmed Panda's planning and layout in advance and making top-level design for key areas of the digital economy.
