NANTEX Industry Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2019. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 3,172.773 million compared to TWD 3,060.932 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 589.566 million compared to TWD 429.127 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 447.418 million compared to TWD 267.551 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.91 compared to TWD 0.54 a year ago.
NANTEX INDUSTRY CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture, processing and trading of latexes, rubber and other chemical products. The Companyâs products include styrene butadiene rubber (SBR) latexes, nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) latexes, NBR synthetic rubbers, refining rubbers, as well as thermoplastic rubbers. Its products are applied in the manufacture of paper products, construction materials, artificial leather products, automobile parts, sports equipment, electronic components, industrial products and medical equipment, among others. The Company operates businesses in Taiwan, Mainland China, the United States, Malaysia and Thailand, among others.
