National Chlorine Industries Company PSC is a Jordan-based public shareholding company engaged in the manufacture of chlorine and related chemicals for the chemicals industry and water treatment projects. The Company's products include Caustic Soda Liquid and Flakes, Hydrogen Gas, Liquefied Chlorine Gas, Hydrochloric Acid, Sodium Hypochlorite and Chlorinated Paraffin. The Company's manufacturing plant is located 40 kilometers southeast of Amman, and has an annual production capacity of 18,000 tons of Caustic Soda (Liquid 32%); 7,000 tons of Caustic Soda (Flakes); 12,000 tons of Liquefied Chlorine Gas; 27,000 tons of Hydrochloric Acid; 300 tons of Hydrogen Gas; 12,000 tons of Chlorinated Paraffin, and 9,000 tons of Sodium Hypochlorite. The Company markets its products locally and exports to other neighboring markets, mainly Arab countries such as Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and East Africa.
