National Mobile Telecommunications Company K.S.C.P. announced consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and first half ended June 30, 2017. For the quarter, the company reported consolidated revenue of KD 174.7 million compared to KD 175.6 million a year ago. EBITDA was KD 64 million compared to KD 58.9 million a year ago. Net profit attributable to company was KD 10.4 million compared to KD 9.1 million a year ago. For the first half, the company reported consolidated revenue of KD 343.8 million compared to KD 350.8 million a year ago. EBITDA was KD 128.9 million compared to KD 115.8 million a year ago. Net profit attributable to company was KD 23.3 million compared to KD 19.3 million a year ago. The consolidated Earnings per Share was 46 fils compared to 38 fils per share earned for the same period last year. The growth in profitability was supported by good performances by Ooredoo Algeria and Ooredoo Maldives, where they continue to benefit from last year's 4G launch and further expansion of 3G network.
