Beachcomber biannual HoD Forum was held on Friday 27 October, welcoming some 180 Head of Departments across the Group at the Caudan Arts Centre for an enriching and insightful afternoon. A key moment was the presentation led by Stéphane Poupinel de Valencé, CEO of Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels. He shared the priorities, challenges and focus areas. « 2023 has been a remarkable year and we are heading towards an outstanding high season. The forward bookings are very strong. Yet, as we move ahead, we remain cautious, bearing in mind currency fluctuation, increasing costs, rising interest rates, world events, and competing destinations», he said.

Recruitment and retention of our Artisans was a main focus area of the event with highlights of upcoming initiatives in line with the Beachcomber Artisan Value Proposition, unveiled last year. This provided an opportunity to immerse in the first phase of the Group's Employer Brand Campaign, #Faces of Happiness, launched in August on our social media platforms, TV, radio, newspapers, and billboards. The second phase of the campaign is scheduled in January 2024.

Exclusive insights about the digitalisation journey to enhance guests' experience, the debt reduction programme, as well as the future hotel at Les Salines, Rivière Noire, were also discussed.

Celebrate, connect and more importantly have fun. Big, hearty, shared, laughs fill the forum during the Anecdote Time, when Artisans go down memory lanes to share some funny stories which have marked their career.

Thank for you all for making this HoD Forum #4 a success.
