Newtree Co.,Ltd. (KOSDAQ:A270870) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to KRW 5,000 million worth of its shares pursuant to a contract with Mirae Asset Daewoo Co., Ltd. The purpose of the program is to improve shareholder value and to stabilize stock price. The program will expire on June 14, 2021. As of December 14, 2020, the company had 232,152 shares in treasury within scope available for dividend and had no shares in treasury through other repurchase.
Newtree Co., Ltd. is a company mainly engaged in the production and sale of health functional foods. The major products include skin health, diet products, core food and functional supplements, among others. The core food products include noni juice and avocado oil, among others.
