K. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of ductile cast iron products, plastic pipes and related products, as well as the provision of transportation and storage services. The Company operates through two business segments. The Ductile Cast Iron Related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of ductile cast iron pipes, deformed pipes, finite element method (FEM) iron lids and related products for water supply and sewerages, as well as the water supply facility construction business and the engineering business. The Resin Pipe and Gas Related segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of ductile cast iron pipes, deformed pipes, FEM iron lids and accessory parts for gas, polyethylene pipes and resin concrete products, the storage and transportation of gas piping materials, the collection, transportation and transshipment storage of industrial waste, as well as the sale of metals, resins and other used iron products.
