Canadian Medical Device Sales Subsidiary

NIPRO CORPORATION is pleased to announce that one of its consolidated subsidiaries, CardioMed Supplies Inc. (Head office: Ontario, Canada; President: Raphael Dube; hereinafter "CardioMed"), has changed its trade name to Nipro Canada Corporation.

To further develop its business in the Canadian market, Nipro Medical Corporation (Head office: Miami, Florida, USA; President: Akira Shimizu), another NIPRO subsidiary, acquired CardioMed on January 1, 2018. In consideration of the brand name's recognition in the Canadian market, the trade name CardioMed was maintained, and products were marketed under that name. Following the improved presence of the NIPRO brand name, however, the trade name was officially changed on July 1, 2022.

Under this new trade name, NIPRO will continue to provide community-based, attentive services while striving to meet the needs of the medical treatment front line while also further expanding the company's business activities around the world.
