nLIGHT, Inc. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported revenue was USD 53.3 million compared to USD 60.83 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 8.82 million compared to USD 10.34 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.19 compared to USD 0.23 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.19 compared to USD 0.23 a year ago.
For the six months, revenue was USD 107.4 million compared to USD 125.29 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 16.55 million compared to USD 18.97 million a year ago. Its products include Semiconductor Lasers, Fiber Lasers, Laser Sensing Products, and Directed Energy Products. The Semiconductor Lasers is a high-power semiconductor laser with a range of power levels, wavelengths, and output fiber sizes. The Fiber Lasers is a programmable and serviceable high-power fiber laser. The Laser Sensing Products includes light detection and ranging (LiDAR) technologies, that are critical enablers of laser-based systems. The Directed Energy Products include standalone fiber amplifiers and beam combination and control systems for use in high-energy laser systems.
