Nordic Aqua Partners (Nordic Aqua, The Company) has during Easter carried out a test-harvesting at the Gaotong facility in China. The Company is pleased to announce that the results have exceeded expectations in both quality and yield. 

Following the tests, the company has decided to implement some minor adjustments to the water circulation systems. This will affect the timeline for "first harvest" marginally, and hence, Nordic Aqua is planning a start of first harvest in week commencing with 22 April. 

"While this adjustment necessitates a slight rescheduling of the harvest to the latter half of April, it is a calculated move to enhance the quality that PureNordicSalmon is set to represent", says CEO Ragnar Joensen. 

Joensen adds: "We will gradually increase the volumes, until we achieve full scale production in May." 

Although there's a minor shift in the second quarter harvest timeline, the comprehensive planning ensures that this will not impact the annual output. Nordic Aqua Partners is committed to meeting its projected harvest volume of 3,400 tonnes for 2024. 

Nordic Aqua Partner is soon ready to gear up activities for the introduction of its Atlantic salmon under the PureNordicSalmon brand to the Chinese market.
