NORMA Group launches company vaccination campaign Maintal, Germany, 18 June 2021 - NORMA Group began providing Corona vaccinations for employees through the company doctor at the Maintal site this week. A total of 12 people were vaccinated at the plant's medical station last Tuesday. With a workforce of just under 700 at its Maintal location, the company has been allocated a total of 96 doses of the vaccine, all of which are to be deployed by the end of next week.

'Protecting our employees is a top priority for us, which is why we are supporting local vaccination campaigns at our sites around the world,' says Dr. Michael Schneider, CEO of NORMA Group. 'We are pleased to now be in a position to provide employees in Maintal with a vaccination directly on site and help contain the pandemic.'

This is a voluntary offer for employees who have not yet been vaccinated. The HR department identifies those interested in being vaccinated in cooperation with the Works Council. Priority will be given to employees who are regularly on site at the plant, for example in production. Additional vaccination doses will also be made available to employees who are able to work from home. NORMA Group's company doctor carries out the vaccinations with the support of the company nurse. The second vaccination in a few weeks will also be carried out directly on site in Maintal.

Before the on-site vaccinations began, NORMA Group had helped employees arrange vaccination appointments at a medical care center in Maintal. As part of this arrangement, around 90 employees have been vaccinated in recent weeks.
