North Electro-Optic Co.,Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 432.006 million compared to CNY 113.562 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 15.500 million compared to operating loss of CNY 10.885 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 15.560 million compared to net loss of CNY 18.738 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.03 compared to basic loss per share from continuing operations of CNY 0.04 a year ago.
North Electro-Optic Co., Ltd. is a China-based company principally engaged in the research and development, design, manufacture and distribution of optoelectronic defense products. The Company is also engaged in the manufacture and sales of optoelectronic materials and components. Its defense products include large-scale weapon systems, precision guidance seekers and optoelectronic information equipment. Its optoelectronic materials and components include optical materials (including ordinary optical materials, low-melting optical materials, infrared materials, laser materials and glass-ceramics), photoelectric materials, components, jewelry glass materials, special materials and optical accessories. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
