Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd. (TSE:9007) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase 6,000,000 shares, representing 1.64% of its issued share capital, for ¥15,000 million. The purpose of the program is to enhance shareholder returns and improve capital efficiency.
The program will be valid till December 31, 2023. As of November 30, 2023, the company had 365,539,653 shares (excluding treasury stock) and 2,958,064 shares in treasury.
