Oma Säästöpankki Oyj (HLSE:OMASP) commences share repurchases on September 28, 2023, under the program mandated by the shareholders in the Annual General Meeting held on March 30, 2023. As per the mandate, the company is authorized to repurchase up to 1,000,000 shares, representing 3% of its issued share capital, however, the number of own shares held by the company does not exceed 10% of the company?s total shares of the company at any time. Shares purchased by the company may be held by it, cancelled or transferred. The repurchase authorization is valid until the closing of the next AGM, but not later than 30 June 2024.

On September 27, 2023, the company announced a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 100,000 shares, representing 0.3% of it's issued share capital. The purpose of repurchase program is implementation of a share-based incentive scheme for key personnel. The repurchases will commence from today and will be valid till March 30, 2024. As of September 27, 2023, the company had 33,275,237 shares in issue and holds 101,386 shares.
