Unigel Group plc (OFEX:UNX) agreed to acquire remaining 40% stake in UNIGEL (UK) Limited from Hextar Capital Berhad (KLSE:HEXCAP) for £1.3 million on January 23, 2024. The consideration consists of £1.30 million in cash. Prior to the transaction, Unigel Group plc (OFEX:UNX) held 60%.
M & A Securities Sdn Bhd acted as a financial advisor, and Asia Equity Research Sdn. Bhd. provided the fairness opinion to Hextar.
Transaction is subject to approval of Hextar shareholders.
