Interpipe paid UAH 3.2bln in taxes and duties in 9m2023
During 9m2023 Interpipe, a global producer of steel pipes and railway products based in Ukraine, transferred UAH 3.2bln in taxes to the budgets of all levels and extra-budgetary funds. The volume of tax expenditures increased by 59 percent y-o-y.
Transfers to the state budget amounted to approximately UAH 2.4bln as well as UAH 363mln was paid to the local budgets. Moreover, UAH 415mln were transferred as Single Social Payment (SSP).
Sergiy Kuzmenko, Interpipe's CFO:
- The significant growth of tax expenditures to the budgets of all levels is due to low base of comparison. In 2022 Interpipe's production facilities were idle for several months, this year they have been working stably and producing goods with higher added value for Ukrainian consumers and for export. This guarantees not only an increase in tax payments, but also jobs for thousands of people in the frontline region.
