Optivision Technology, Inc. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 216.01 million compared to TWD 138.33 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 39.81 million compared to TWD 161.16 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.75 compared to TWD 3.04 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was TWD 562.81 million compared to TWD 805.92 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 203.39 million compared to TWD 205.03 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 3.84 compared to TWD 3.74 a year ago.
Optivision Technology Inc. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacturing and sale of backlight units key components, such as brightness enhancement films (BEFs) and multiple function optical prism films. The Company's products are applied in backlight modules of thin film transistor-liquid crystal displays (TFT-LCDs), used for terminal products such as LCD televisions (TVs), notebooks, LCD monitors, cell phones, digital cameras, global positioning system (GPS) machines, digital photo frames, moving picture experts group layer-3 auto (MP3) displays and other consumer electronic products. The Company distributes its products within Taiwan and the rest of Asia.
