Orpea announced on Monday the appointment of Muriel Barnéoud, former Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at La Poste, to the position of Director of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Quality at the retirement home operator.

Muriel Barnéoud, who will join the Management Committee, will be responsible for steering the Group's CSR strategy and reinforcing its quality policy and objectives as part of its restructuring plan.

Her expertise, particularly in the fields of CSR and quality, will be decisive in raising the Group once again to the level required of a leading operator capable of caring for the most vulnerable", explained Laurent Guillot, Orpea's Chief Executive Officer.

A graduate of Sciences Po Paris and holder of a DESS in finance and taxation from the Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, Muriel Barnéoud began her career in 1990 as an auditor with Arthur Andersen.

She then joined the La Poste group in 1994, eventually becoming its Director of Corporate Social Responsibility in 2016.
