Parkson Holdings Berhad Enters Loan Agreement with Syndicate of Banks

Parkson Holdings Berhad announced that on 15 March 2024, the company, as borrower, entered into the Loan Agreement in relation to a syndicated loan facility in an aggregate amount of up to RMB 2,500,000,000 with a syndicate of banks, as lenders. The Loan Facility has a term of 36 months commencing from the first drawdown date. The Loan Facility is to refinance the existing loans of the Group.

Parkson Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based investment holding company. The Company's segments include Retailing and Others. The Company is principally engaged in the operation of the Parkson brand department stores. Its stores offer a range of internationally renowned brands of fashion and lifestyle related merchandise in four main categories namely, fashion and apparel, cosmetics and accessories, household and electrical, and groceries and perishables. In addition, the Company is also involved in the retailing of fashionable goods, consumer financing business and operation of food and beverage (F&B) outlets. It operates and manages retail stores in Malaysia, the People's Republic of China (PRC) and Vietnam. It has approximately 38 stores in Malaysia, 43 stores in 29 cities across China and one store in Vietnam. Its subsidiaries include East Crest International Limited, Parkson Vietnam Investment Holdings Co Ltd, Parkson Properties Holdings Co Ltd and Prime Yield Holdings Limited.
