COMUNICADO AO MERCADO

A Pet Center Comércio e Participações S.A. ("Companhia"), nos termos do Art. 12 da Instrução CVM 358/02, conforme alterada, comunica aos seus acionistas e ao mercado em geral que recebeu, na data de 1 de junho de 2022 após fechamento do pregão, correspondência encaminhada por Wasatch Advisors, Inc. ("Wasatch"), na qualidade de administrador de investimentos, informando que, na data referida, sua participação acionária atingiu aproximadamente 4,99% do capital social da Companhia, totalizando, de forma agregada, 22.991.959 ações ordinárias ("PETZ3").

Ainda, de acordo com a correspondência recebida, cujo teor é integralmente reproduzido como parte deste comunicado (Anexo I - apenas em inglês):

• Objetivo da transação: apenas para fins de investimento.
• Declaração de que a operação não alterará a composição do controle ou estrutura administrativa do emissor: esse é um investimento minoritário que não altera a composição do controle ou a estrutura administrativa do emissor.

• Wasatch Advisors, Inc. manages 22,991,959 shares of Pet Center Comercio e Participacoes SA, which is equivalent to
  4.99%;
• The objective of the transaction; for investment purposes only.
• Declaration that the transaction will not alter the composition of the control or administrative structure of the issuer; This is a minority investment that does not alter the composition of the control or the administrative structure of the issuer.
• The details of any agreements or contracts regulating the right to vote, purchase or sell securities issued by the issuer; There are no bonus or subscription rights, options to buy shares or debentures convertible into shares held, directly or indirectly, by the investors in question or by persons linked to them or any agreement or contract regulating the exercise of the right to vote or buy and sell securities issued by Pet Center Comercio e Participacoes SA in which the investors in question or persons linked to them are part.

Pet Center Comércio e Participações S.A. ("Company"), in compliance with article 12 of CVM Instruction 358/02, as amended, informs its shareholders and the market that it received, on June 1st, 2022 after trading hours, a communication from Wasatch Advisors, Inc. ("Wasatch"), as investment manager, informing that, on the mentioned date, its stake reached approximately 4.99% of the Company's capital stock, totaling, in aggregate, 22.991.959 common shares ("PETZ3").

Also, according to the correspondence received, the content of which is fully reproduced as part of this communication (Appendix I):
