SINOVAC COVID-19 VACCINE IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR

CHILDREN AGED 5 TO 11 YEARS

SHAH ALAM, 3 MARCH 2022 - Pharmaniaga Berhad (Pharmaniaga) will begin to supply Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years following the conditional approval given by the Drug Control Authority (DCA), announced by Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, Director General of Health today.

DCA has previously approved the vaccine for adolescents aged 12 to 17 years.

China was the first country to approve Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine for children. Besides China, countries such as Chile, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Thailand, Turkey and Hong Kong have also approved the use of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine for children.
