Pidilite Industries Limited reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was INR 31,299.9 million compared to INR 29,975.9 million a year ago. Revenue was INR 31,669.7 million compared to INR 30,027.2 million a year ago. Net income was INR 5,104.8 million compared to INR 3,041.7 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.04 compared to INR 5.98 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 10.04 compared to INR 5.98 a year ago.

Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was INR 28.09 compared to INR 19.47 a year ago.

The Company, together with its subsidiaries, is focused on consumer and industrial specialty chemicals. The Company's segments include Consumer and Bazaar (C&B), Business to Business (B2B), and Others. The C&B segment covers the sale of products mainly to end consumers, which are retail users such as carpenters, painters, plumbers, mechanics, households, students and offices, among others. The Company's products include adhesives, sealants, art and craft materials and construction and paint chemicals. The B2B segment includes industrial products such as adhesives, synthetic resins, organic pigments, pigment preparations, construction chemicals (projects) and surfactants, among others. It caters to various industries, such as packaging, textiles, joineries, printing inks, paper and leather, among others.
