PIMCO Global Stocksplus & Income Fund announced earnings results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported net investment income of $3,579,589 or $0.34 per share compared to the net investment income of $3,603,792 or $0.35 per share for the same quarter a year ago. Net realized and change in unrealized gain was $174,651 or $0.04 per share against $10,690,390 or $1.04 per share a year ago. By using GAAP, net Investment Income for the quarter was $2,070,858 or $0.20 per share compared with $1,305,069 or $0.12 per share a year ago.

The Fund's investment objective is to seek total return comprised of current income, current gains, and long-term capital appreciation. The Fund invests, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its managed assets in a combination of securities and instruments that provide exposure to stocks and/or produce income. The Fund may engage in investment strategies, including those that employ the use of paired swaps transactions, the use of interest rate swaps to seek to capitalize on differences between short-term and long-term interest rates and other derivatives transactions.
