PJSC Sberbank : Sber participating in Congress of Young Scientists and closing ceremony of Year of Science and Technology

The Sirius Park of Science and Art is hosting the key events of the Year of Science and Technology - the Congress of Young Scientists and the closing ceremony of the Year of Science and Technology - on December 8-10, where topical issues of cooperation in the field of science, education and technology, the implementation of measures to support young scientists and the development of key areas of the Strategy for Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation will be addressed. Sber and its ecosystem companies will take part in the key sessions and give master classes and lectures. Sber is a partner of the events.

December 8

• 11:30 am: Maхim Yeremenko, vice president, director of AI and ML Development, Sberbank, will address the Artificial Intelligence plenary session
• 2:00 pm: Machine Learning to Create Virtual Gaming Worlds. The session will be moderated by SberGames CEO Alisa Chumachenko
• 2:00 pm: Digital Innovations in Healthcare. The discussion panel will welcome SberHealth CEO Anatoly Zinger and Executive Director for Data Studies with Sberbank's AI Lab Vladimir Kokh
• 4:30 pm: Vsevolod Gavrilov, managing director of the Center for Digital GR Initiatives, Sberbank, will participate in the discussion entitled The Role of Carbon Polygons. The Future of Forestry, Agricultural, and Water Climatic Project Development in Russia.

• 9:00 am: The Scientific Breakthroughs We are About to See in the Next Decade: Life Science, Physical World, a Digital Universe. The plenary session will be moderated by Albert Yefimov, vice president, director of Research and Innovations, Sberbank
• 4:30 am: Artificial Intelligence as an Assistant to Creators: the Story of one Track. The session will be moderated by Head of Sberbank's Promising AI Technology Development Department Andrei Chertok.

Delivering their lectures on December 9 will also be Managing Director of Sberbank's AI Governance Center Andrey Neznamov and Managing Director for Data Research with Sberbank's AI Lab Manvel Avetisyan, and more.

The main plenary session, which will be attended by Deputy Chair of the Sberbank Executive Board Olga Golodets, is taking place at 10:00 am on December 10. The session will sum up the results of the Year of Science and Technology in Russia and discuss some further lines of work for the new initiatives launched this year.

The congress participants will have access to an interactive stand of Sber called "Who are you in science?" and a showcase of Sber AI's Creative AI designs. There will also be an exposition of smart devices by Sber with virtual assistants Salute as exhibits, including the TV media center SberBox Top, the SberPortal smart screen, and an interactive booth with Visper visual avatars.

The Congress of Young Scientists and the closing ceremony of the Year of Science and Technology will be organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Coordinating Council for Youth Affairs in Science and Education of the Council for Science and Education under the President of the Russian Federation, and the Roscongress Foundation.
