POLARIS UNO, Inc. (KOSDAQ:A114630) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 1,300,000 shares. The purpose behind the program is to stabilize the stock price and enhance shareholder value.
The program will continue until August 17, 2022. As of May 17, 2022, the company had 464,757 shares in treasury under buyback within dividend capacity and no shares in treasury under other buyback category.
Polaris Uno Inc, formerly Uno&Company Ltd, is a Korea-based company engaged in the manufacturing of wig fibers and chemicals. The Company operates its businesses through two segments. The Synthetic Yarn Business segment provides wig fibers, including polyvinyl chloride (PVC) wig fibers and nonflammable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fibers, which are used for wigs, hair extensions, hair accessories and others. The Chemical Business segment provides monomers for eyeglass lenses required for the manufacturing of plastic eyeglass lenses for vision correction, label adhesives for labeling glass bottles, optical films, color-changing dyes and others. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets, including China, Southeast Asia, Africa and other areas.
