Posco Co., Ltd. agreed to acquire Posco Coated Steel (Thailand) Co., Ltd from POSCO Holdings Inc. (KOSE:A005490) for KRW 72.4 billon on November 18, 2022. Under the terms, Posco will pay KRW 2010 per share to acquire 35,999,998 shares in Posco Coated Steel. In related transactions, Posco acquires stake in 57 other companies.
The transaction is resolved by the board of Posco and expected to complete in December 2022.
