Powercom Co. Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 290.792 million compared to TWD 259.379 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 1.081 million compared to operating Income of TWD 69.003 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 15.070 million compared to net income of TWD 66.345 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.08 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.34 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 486.789 million compared to TWD 549.902 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 20.348 million compared to operating Income of TWD 65.324 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 17.706 million compared to net income of TWD 66.076 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.09 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.34 a year ago.
POWERCOM CO., LTD. is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of uninterruptible power systems (UPSs) and solar modules products. The Companyâs primary products include the off-line UPSs, line-interactive UPSs, on-line UPSs, solar power generation modules and photovoltaic (PV) inverters. Its products are mainly used in computers, communication products, medical equipment and solar power generation systems. The Company is also involved in the design and construction of solar power generation plants and the provision of related maintenance services.
