Powszechny Zaklad Ubezpieczen SA's supervisory board has entrusted Artur Olech as company's CEO, subject to the approval of the Poland's financial watchdog KNF, PZU. Artur Olech will perform the duties of PZU's CEO to the extent permitted by the relevant regulations, pending approval by KNF. The appointment take effect from April 12, 2024 for a joint term of office covering three full financial years 2023-2025.

Artur Olech has been a manager associated with the financial and insurance industry for more than 30 years. He is an expert in business process management and a long-time head of financial institutions. As of May 2020, he is co-founder and CEO of Trasti - an insurtech and digital insurer created in a joint venture with Triglav DD and Swiss Re.

Olech has been with Generali Group for many years, starting as a manager, through department director, board member, deputy CEO, up to the position of group's CEO in Poland from 2010 to 2014.
