On Wednesday, Precia Molen reported weak sales growth in the 3rd quarter, against a backdrop of confirmed economic slowdown in Europe.

The industrial weighing specialist reported sales of 40 million euros for the July-September period, up 0.8% on 2022.

Organic growth came to 1.8%, penalized in particular by a drop in activity at Milviteka, in Lithuania.

The Group, which manufactures scales for the mining, steel, food processing and logistics industries, reported sales of €126.5 million for the first nine months of the year, up 7.1%.

On a like-for-like basis, organic growth came to 9.4% over the period.

In its press release, the Group cites a "significant" drop in the pace of order intake in Western Europe, and particularly in France, with the consequent difficulty of regenerating the year-end order book.

Listed on Euronext Paris, Precia Molen shares were stable after these indications.
