Press Kogyo Co., Ltd. reported consolidated earnings results for the nine months ended December 31, 2019. For the nine months, the company reported net sales of JPY 154,583 million compared to JPY 167,540 million a year ago. Operating profit was JPY 4,716 million compared to JPY 10,604 million a year ago. Profit was JPY 3,445 million compared to JPY 7,573 million a year ago. Earnings per share was JPY 19.78 compared to JPY 54.42 a year ago.
For the year ending March 31, 2020, on consolidated basis, the company expects net sales of JPY 203,000 million, operating profit of JPY 7,500 million, profit attributable to owners of parent of JPY 4,100 million and earnings per share of JPY 37.47.
PRESS KOGYO CO., LTD. is a Japan-based company primarily engaged in the manufacture of automotive parts and construction machinery. The Company operates in two business segments. The Automobile-related segment is involved in the manufacture and sale of automotive parts, automotive assembly and automobile molds. The Construction Machinery segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of construction machinery parts. The Company is also engaged in manufacture and sale of building-related parts and multi-story parking equipment. The main products include chassis frame, completed vehicle assembly, side cover, transmission cover, under cover, front bumper, front pillar inner, mold & automation equipment axle, motorcycle garage, cabin for construction machinery, and among others.
